Applications are open to participate in the ASA Programme, offering scholarships to participate in a variety of projects. At HSRW and the Sustainable Food Systems Research Centre we are involved in 2 initiatives related to agroforestry, one in Armenia and one in Brazil. MSc student presentation at the international (online) conference “Green economy and sustainable development issues in the Kyrgyz Republic” Mr. Arshidin Khassiyarov, a recent graduate of the Master program “MSc Biological Resources” at Rhine-Waal University (HSRW), has presented the results of his MSc research project during the international (online) conference “Green economy and sustainable development issues in the Kyrgyz Republic”. The conference was organized by HSRW’s partner university KNAU in Bishkek on the 17 November, 2023. In his research, Mr. Khassiyarov investigated the physical and chemical characteristics and determined the technological viability of baobab (Adansonia digitata L.) fruit shell briquettes. The analyses
