The meeting centered on the development of their respective tourism programs, with a particular emphasis on the redevelopment of the curriculum at MAK.
Prof. Reiser and his colleagues from Makerere University engaged in productive discussions, exchanging ideas and best practices. The collaboration aims to integrate new perspectives into the sustainable tourism curriculum, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry.
During his visit, Prof. Reiser had the opportunity to sign the guest book at the Vice-Chancellor’s office, and a meeting whichh highlights the strong relationship and mutual respect between the two institutions.
Reflecting on the trip, Prof. Reiser praised the exceptional hospitality of the Makerere University team. “The meeting was very productive, and the hospitality of Francis and the rest of the team was magnificent,” he said. “I can highly recommend a visit to Makerere University and Uganda.”
