We are excited to announce that our research institute will be participating in Tropentag 2025, the premier conference on agricultural research and development, taking place from September 16-18, 2025. This year, we are sending a delegation of ten team members, each contributing their expertise to various facets of the conference.
Highlight: Workshop by Philip Schierning
As part of our contribution to Tropentag 2025, we are pleased to share that Philip Schierning, one of PhD candidates within the SUFACHAIN project, will be hosting Workshop No.12 delving into cutting-edge methods for improving agricultural practices in resource-limited environments, with a particular focus on sustainability and resilience in the face of climate change.
Workshop Details:
This workshop is designed for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers involved in agricultural development, and we invite all interested attendees to join and contribute to the lively discussion.
Our Delegation’s Contributions
In addition to Philip Schierning’s workshop, our team will be actively involved throughout the conference with several oral and poster presentations. We are proud to have three team members delivering oral presentations on diverse topics ranging from agricultural policy analysis to environmental impact assessments. Furthermore, four poster presentations will be held by members of the delegation, showcasing our latest research and findings.
Meet Our Experts at Tropentag
Our diverse delegation, representing various disciplines within agricultural research, will be present throughout the event. Whether you are attending one of our presentations, visiting our posters, or joining Philip Schierning’s workshop, we encourage you to engage with our team and explore collaborative opportunities in sustainable agricultural research.
We look forward to seeing you at Tropentag 2025 and are excited to share our findings with the broader research community!
