Interest in joining agroforestry projects in Armenia or Brazil? Apply now!

Applications are open to participate in the ASA Programme, offering scholarships to participate in a variety of projects. At HSRW and the Sustainable Food Systems Research Centre we are involved in 2 initiatives related to agroforestry, one in Armenia and one in Brazil. The projects will last in total 6 months and take place in two phases, one in Germany at HSRW (between the 15^th of April and the 31^st of July 2023) and one in the partner countries (between the 15^th of July and the 31^st of December 2023).

Armenia – Support smallholder agriculture with agroforestry

The project in Armenia will focus on optimizing the benefits of agroforestry in smallholder agriculture. In Armenia, you will be working with the non-governmental organization Shen in Yerevan. You can find more details for the project in Armenia here!

Brazil – Evaluation and Establishing Agroforestry systems

The project in Brazil will particularly focus on silvopastoral agroforestry systems in the Cerrado region. In Brazil, you will be working the Instituto Federal Brasilia (IFB). You can find more details for the project in Brazil here.
